Hello :)

I created the Google account long ago and added this page.. I think.. First time I've ever actually used a blog! Assuming if I can post -- I have done the assignment correctly.  I am from Breathitt County; I am a middle school teacher for the Breathitt County Schools.  This year I will complete my 10th year in education.  I am blessed each day to work in a "smart" classroom and am looking forward to learning innovative ways to use even more technology in my classroom.

Technology for Teachers

I'm excited about taking this class.  I have been teaching for 17 years now and technology wasn't a big part of the class when my career started.  Students had an option to hand write their portfolios or type them.  Now technology is a must.  I teach college and career classes now and we are on the computer everyday.  I am excited to learn new ways to use technology in my classroom.

Technology for Educators

I am so excited about this class! I incorporate technology into my daily classroom routine, however I know that there are far more resources that I could be utilizing.  In this class, I hope to learn about many more technology resources that will enhance the learning of our 21st century students! :-)

I look forward to learning new technology skills that I can incorporate into my classroom lessons, planning, and teaching. I think it is imperative that educators stay on top of the ever changing technology world.
