Brain pop

I hope that most of you have seen or used Brain Pop. If not, it is a very useful 5 minute short video tool to teach mini lessons on every subject! www.brainpop.com Go to the site and check it out! It is geared for elementary and middle school, but has great explanations. Just something to pass along.

  1. We use Brain Pop at our school. Although I am the P.E. teacher, two days a week are spent with a group in the computer lab. I am not the instructor for the class, but I monitor students as they enjoy these mini-lessons. Brain Pop gives students a chance to choose their own topic of interest without being assigned one on most occasions. If you haven't checked it out, I, like Lori, suggest you do. (Carl Harrison)

  2. We even use BrainPop Jr. for our Kindergarten students. Especially toward the end of the year... The kids love seeing the videos on patterns, money and even historical figures.
