Welcome to Mrs. Wood's 4th Grade Blog. Most of you are wondering... What is a classroom Blog? First off blogging is easily created web sites that allow an author or authors to publish instantly to the Internet from any Internet connection. This is interactive, allowing teachers and students to begin conversations or add to the information that is published there. Blogging is the most widely adopted tool of the web. This is a collaborative and ongoing tool that your child will use throughout the year. Research has indicated that a weblog promotes critical and analytical thinking. I will be using our classroom weblog to communicate with parents. I will post photos, showcase student work and assignments. This allows questions to be ask and comments to be made. Just remember web etiquette.
