i have always thought of myself as fairly tech savvy, but I have been proven WRONG! I really have learned a lot about some of the tools available to educators on the Internet. I have been thinking about ways to use this "new" technology and I believe podcasts might be the best tool for me and my classes. I teach choral music and it's difficult to find ways for students to practice on their own without making individual CDs and then I never truly know if they are utilizing them. Podcasts might be my new best friend when it comes to rehearsal techniques. Time will tell if it works but I do think it can be a fantastic asset to the students...and teacher.
