There is no way for us to avoid using technology in the classroom in 2016! Whether we are tech savy or not, technology is here to stay. Most of the students we have in High School these days have access to technology 24-7. These students have cell phones and are browsing the internet all day long. Then these students go home and play on a computer or a tablet at night. Students are even googling the answers to their homework. Most math worksheets are on the internet with all of the problems worked out. Teachers have to recognize this and use it to his/her advantage. We have to realize that when we assign homework, more than likely it is not being down independently.
