Technology in my classroom

I think that technology in the classroom is an wonderful tool(s). I teach third grade and I use technology in the classroom often. My students are responsible for a writing folder, that contains typed and handwritten work.  I also use technology to engage my students in reading and math skills. I use Study Island with controllers, (voters) which allows student to respond to questions on the Smartboard. Additional programs that are offered to our students, including Fastmath and Compass.  In the district that I teach, our students take part in computer based MAP testing.  Technology changes quickly, teachers now find it's our duty to share what knowledge we have with our students to help prepare them for the future, In which technology definitely will play a major role.
