Technology in the Classroom

This class and the book, BLOGS, WIKIS, PODCASTS AND OTHER POWERFUL WEB TOOLS FOR CLASSROOMS, has definitely changed my outlook on using technology in the classroom.  I now know there are so many ways to reach out to students who are already involved in technology in some form.  I will be keeping the book as a reference! 

Blogging

I have to admit, it was challenging, but fun to create my own class web blog.  I hope to practice and gain a better understanding of how to add/edit content on my page and keep it active and use it as a way to communicate with parents and students.

Web Quest

I hadn't heard of a webquest until I was in this class.  I thought that it was a great unique way to have a class interact with one another and to have a chance to do a group project in a different manner by using technology.

Blogging

I have learned a lot from this class about blogging and wikis.  I think that the book for this class is a great resource for teachers to use in their classrooms.

Learning a little at a time!!

I have really enjoyed this class. It has opened my eyes to things I didn't know existed. I know that in the future we will be using more and more technology in our classrooms.  I am very grateful for this class preparing me for that. I would like more help in creating webquests. A little confusing. Today I am going to start creating my web blog. Everyone wish me luck and any helpful points you would like to add feel free!

Second post

I enjoyed this class more than any other class I have ever taken. I learned about so many different and creative ways to incorporate technology in the classroom. I plan to continue to use my blog for classroom communication in the future. This class was extremely beneficial to me.
