Anybody else ready to throw in the towel?

This class has been insane for me!  Challenge would be a severe understatement.  The towel is in hand and itching to be thrown, I have wanted to give up several times since the beginning but have made the deadline so far for each assignment.  If it is not me understanding how to do something it is this stupid computer acting like it is possessed!  I hope I can endure the web quest and the pod cast but only time can tell!  I vow to win this battle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I feel your pain William. Every assignment has been a new experience and a definite challenge for me. LOL! The screencast was a challenge. It took me forever to figure out the tutorial, let alone the numerous attempts I made to complete my own screencast. The Web quest wasn't as bad, but in my hurried attempt to complete It, I left out my rubric :( Even though I had designed one. UGH!
There have been some definite advantages though, I will use my power point and web quest (including the rubric) in my 5th grade social studies class this month.
Thanks for sharing! It's great to know that I'm not alone in facing these challenges and frustrations.

  2. I can relate to you both! I am almost ashamed to tell how many times I recorded the screencast and how many hours I put into that. I am even more embarrassed to tell how long it took me to do the web quest. I'll have to say that I am glad I've learned what all I have and I look forward to utilizing as much of it into my classroom as I possible can. Only problem, practically all we have at our school is out of order signs on all our computers! This makes utilizing technology very much of a strain, to say the least!
