Kyle Mink
Whiel teaching I find so many different ways to implement technology into my lessons.  I would not know what to do without my smartboard, airliner, and elmo.  These tools help me to be so much more effective and time management conscious.  These tools and many other help the students interact in the lesson and connect more to content being introduced.

  1. Well, I didn't think about the Smartboard and Lady Bug (Elmo). I use both a great deal. I would like to have more opportunities for students to use technology to access content, rather than me using technology to present content to them. I recently showed students how to use Excel to create tables and graphs, but until they get to do it, it will not be concrete for them.

Kyle, I completely agree with you on the smartboard. I use it daily and don't think I could function without it. With a smartboard you can introduce much more information than with a simple white board. Plus, you can incorporate pictures, video, audio, simulations that are not possible without it.

We also have new "Mobile" computer labs that allow me to bring the research straight into the classroom. With every kid having they own laptop to use, it makes things much easier.
