The Options are Limitless
I am a new teacher and finding ways to incorporate technology in the classroom is always something that has interested me. I feel it is important to keep the students engaged in whatever we are learning. Today I would like to talk about a very interesting aspect I have found using technology to make lessons more engaging. One thing I find extremely interesting for students to do is take virtual field trips. For instance, in my English class when we begin talking about an author, it is very helpful and interesting to my students if I show them the authors town and house. When we talk about the Salem Witch Trials, they get to feel as if they are in Salem, Massachusetts looking through the museum thanks to a virtual tour. This could be used by all grade levels in many different subjects. It is a cheaper more plausible experience to getting students the culture and knowledge they need for a specific lesson.
