Change of Attitude

This is the time of year when I begin to relax. The school year has ended. We will be receiving a new Reading series this year so I am looking forward to next fall. A complete school break would be nice but college goes on this summer. The end is in sight. Now that's exciting! My cohorts and I have worked so hard on the job and college. Now it's time to focus on finishing our Masters program.
The technology class has been extremely challenging. I have had to ask for help several times. It has been a very humbling experience but empowering when each assignment has been finished. Wow, I did it! has been my warcry. lol!
For the first time I find myself and some of my fellow teachers, asking each other for techological idea exchange. We plan on sharing Webquests, screencasts, podcasts, etc ...
We want to develop technology for our classrooms. That is the real power behind this class. Thanks Dr. Rubin and classmates for that motivation.

  2. I have also found this class to be very challenging. I thought I was really good with technology in my classroom, until I started taking this class. I saw the assignments, and I was thought to myself I will never make it. But with the readings each week, and the suggested downloads that Dr. Rubin has given us, I found out that I had only begun to scratch the surface of available technology I could use. This class benefitted me as well, because I have a greater knowledge of the different technologies that are available for me to make my classroom more technological efficient.
