Screencast issues

While working on the screencast project, I find it difficult to get the postion of the microphone just right.  It seems that I speak too loud or too soft!  Very irritating!

    When you finished your screencast, and uploaded it, were you able to hear your response to the assignment?

    Yes, I could hear it just fine once I got adjusted to the microphone.

      Thank you...obviously I have done something wrong or different. I could hear myself before I sent the assignment, but after I loaded and sent it, the sound wasn't there... UGHHH!!

    I had an older microphone with a stand. It came with the first computer I owned. It worked well because I could place where it could easily capture my voice and my hands were free to work on the computer.
